- I came to Japan in '99 and started my dubious 'career' as an English teacher. I then moved to Thailand in '05 and taught for a year in the Land of Smiles. Yearn for the yen brought me back to to the Land of The Rising Sun.I was holding down two teaching jobs until my main employer Nova went bankrupt... I hope to save enough money to get back to Thailand sooner rather than later so I have ditched the world of English teaching to roll the dice in a commission-based job.
